A cosy double room with air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom with shower, in the main house. A quiet room for a quiet heart.
The Adullam poolside bungalow
A one-bedroom bungalow beside the pool, with a double bed and a bunk bed, a spacious separate bathroom and a cosy sitting area. Available on request for families, couples or individuals who want more solitude.
The west of Gozo
Għarb, "the West", is one of the oldest villages on Gozo, home to about 1,300 people. A village square with a baroque church and clock tower, old stone balconies, and one of the island's most scenic cliff walks less than ten minutes from our door.

Fly to Malta International Airport, travel to Ċirkewwa, and take the Gozo Channel ferry to Mġarr (about 25 minutes). We can help with transport or a rental car.

Cyril and Olivia Melotte
Your hosts are pastors and missionaries who know the pressures of ministry. Cyril has served full-time since 2013, was a commercial building contractor and a life and leadership coach, and was ordained by the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Olivia grew up in a Christian home in Accra, Ghana, and was a pre-school teacher.
Together they have planted churches in four nations. Challenges, transitions and changes in ministry and business taught them that people often need a place away from pressure to draw closer to God. The Farmer's Inn grew out of that.

Who is The Farmer's Inn for?
Pastors, ministers and missionaries; kingdom-minded entrepreneurs, C-level executives and business leaders; couples and families; teams; and anyone who is weary and needs a place to rest, pray and be renewed.
Where is it?
"Razzett Bruka", Triq Santu Pietru, Għarb GRB1505, Gozo, Malta. Għarb is the westernmost village of the Maltese islands, a quiet village on the island of Gozo.
How do I get there from Malta International Airport?
Head to the Ċirkewwa ferry terminal in northern Malta, take the Gozo Channel ferry to Mġarr (about 25 minutes), and continue to Għarb by taxi or bus. We can help arrange transport, or a rental car, on request.
Is there a bus stop nearby?
Yes, the bus stop is less than 50 metres from the entrance.
What does it cost?
Stays are based on donations "as your heart leads". A minimum donation sustains the retreat house, because we rent and maintain the property and rely on partners. If you cannot afford the donation but feel led to stay for your wellbeing, please contact us.
Are meals included?
Meals are optional and added according to your preferences. Guests also have a shared kitchen and dining area, and a barbecue by the pool.
What are the rooms like?
The Peace be Still room is a cosy double with air conditioning and an en-suite shower. The Adullam poolside bungalow has a double bed and a bunk bed, a spacious bathroom and a sitting area, ideal for families or those who want more solitude.
Do you offer counselling and coaching?
Yes. Cyril offers pastoral counselling, family and marriage sessions, and life and business coaching, during your stay or online afterwards by Zoom.
Can I bring my family or team?
Yes. We host individuals, couples, families and small teams. Tell us your dates and group size when you enquire.
Is it only for pastors?
No. Pastors and ministry workers are close to our heart, but families, entrepreneurs, professionals and anyone seeking rest in a Christian setting are welcome.
Keep the house open
The Farmer's Inn stays open through the gifts of partners and guests. They cover the monthly rent and upkeep, and improve conditions for guests. Every gift is used only to serve retreat guests: rent, upkeep and upgrades to rooms and premises.
